HIRING THE HEADHUNTER BY ILLEGALLY NOT NOTIFYING ALL MEMBERS OF THE BOARD:

As you might imagine, the Board member that was left out by not being properly notified was ME!

I wasn't at this meeting because I spoke to the Board President, James Peters,  telling him that I was going to Dallas with my husband on a business trip, and I asked if there were going to be any board meetings.  He said "No."  I asked that he not schedule any as I wanted to be a part of the decision to pick the headhunter.  He indicated that he agreed to that.

The minute I left town, he posted a meeting notice for three days out, didn't notify me as required by law, and held the meeting without me!

In the five years I served on the board, I only missed this specially called meeting and one regular meeting (when my father died).

Obviously it was very important to have Bob Thompson as the headhunter.

The reader can decide for himself why things happened as they did.
