KATY ISD POLLED EVERYONE TO SEE WHAT THEY WOULD ALLOW TO BE CUT:

KISD actually tabulated the responses to their poll questions about what the people thought they should and shouldn't cut.  But I doubt if anyone can find it on their web site.  I found it and copied it, but I can't find it again....

So here's what it said:

Those answering the poll included 2,976 (53%) parents, 1,599  (29%) teachers, 767 (14%) Katy residents with no students enrolled, 320 (6%)  "other," 265 (5%)  paraprofessionals, 227 (5%)  support staff, 146  (3%) students, 52 (1%) campus administrators, 38 (1%) central administrators.
