KATY ISD POLLED EVERYONE TO SEE WHAT THEY WOULD ALLOW TO BE CUT:
KISD actually tabulated the responses to their poll questions about what the people thought they should and shouldn't cut. But I doubt if anyone can find it on their web site. I found it and copied it, but I can't find it again....
So here's what it said:
Those answering the poll included 2,976 (53%) parents, 1,599 (29%) teachers, 767 (14%) Katy residents with no students enrolled, 320 (6%) "other," 265 (5%) paraprofessionals, 227 (5%) support staff, 146 (3%) students, 52 (1%) campus administrators, 38 (1%) central administrators.
