Katy ISD considers designs, architects and new courses

After approving the final bond votes counts — 30,330 for and 24,400 against — the Katy school board went on to consider a full agenda of new projects, including designs for elementary schools 38 and 39, junior high 15 and high school 8, as well as potential architects for projects in the recent $748 million bond package and even five new courses.

Westsidebilly,

If you have a list of the contributors to the Pro-bond PAC could you tell us where you found them? Or could you just send them to me?

Thanks for finally reading my web site (www.marymcgarr.com) Too bad Ms. Binkovitz didn't talk about the fines PBK architects had to pay for violating guidelines of the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners BEFORE the bond election. Those accused architects also had to take 2 hours of "ethics training." PBK is the firm that's built ALL the junior highs and high schools in KISD for the last fifteen years! Now if you'll just point out every now and then the rebuild of Allen Stadium that PBK is having to do.

The Board also has spread the architectural work around a bit. I'm guessing they realized that in doing so, they could get more donations to their campaign war chests.

It's always all about the money.
