BOND INITIATIVE 1980:

In September 1980, the KISD Bond Referendum Election provided 39.6 million dollars and funded three elementary schools (Nottingham Country Elementary, Sundown Elementary, and Cimarron Elementary), Memorial Parkway Junior High, the KISD stadium, the Miller vocational school and the expansion and renovation of several other facilities.  Voters approved the bonds by a three-to-one margin.

And the buildings scheduled in the Bond were all built as promised.  Last time that ever happened in KISD, I think.
