CHRONICLE FLASHES ITS BIAS:

The Houston Chronicle this morning announced that Katy ISD is indeed growing quickly with "700,000" new students enrolled. I suppose I need to print a retraction right here regarding my previous post!

"Fort Bend ISD isn't the only Houston-area district grappling with the challenges posed by growth.  Many Katy ISD campuses are also over-capacity as the district deals with surging enrollment, which reached 700,000 this week."

or to the front page of this morning's City and State section.

Think the Katy ISD school administrators have gotten to the Houston Chronicle?  Every chance the Chronicle gets it sticks in something favorable for Katy ISD, (they're even suggesting today that Katy restaurants are "worth the drive")!

Never mind that the Houston Chronicle Editorial Board came out AGAINST the Stadium Bond just last November and that part of the  bond, regardless of the hype, hasn't changed one bit, in my opinion.

But it would certainly help KISD if the Chronicle could just get their "facts" straight!
