WHY I AM NOT VOTING FOR THE BOND    PART IV:

Part of their reasoning has been that the District needed a new stadium because seven high schools could not play in just one stadium.

And yet, here we are in the third week of the football season, and there are seven KISD varsity football teams playing in one stadium!

You can't find a schedule on the KISD web site, but the Katy News threw a newspaper in your yard in the last two weeks that had one.

All the schools share playing on a Thursday--most of them two or three times.  Only Tompkins and Katy have only one Thursday game.  Most of them have an 11 AM Saturday game--Taylor and Mayde Creek have two of them.

The point is, they are doing just fine with one stadium for seven high schools.

We only have to look to Ft Bend ISD to see how a larger district than ours has one large stadium, Mercer, and then a smaller stadium by one of the high schools where games are played.

This excuse for needing another stadium is not reasonable.
