CHRONICLE ARTICLE ABOUT GREG ABBOTT'S HOPES FOR PRE-K:

The Houston Chronicle reprinted an article from the San Antonio Express-News, their sister paper down the road, which outlines the Liberals' hopes for Pre-K education in Texas.  The author is quick to point out that Governor-elect Greg Abbott wants to expand Pre-K education in Texas.  Heaven only knows why he would embrace such a bad idea from the leftists, but I'm guessing it has something to do with campaign promises he made thinking he needed to do so in order to get elected.  He didn't!

Pre-K education is probably the worst thing that can happen to little children as that level of education currently exists.  As an alternative, if one can find a suitable day-care program that simply lets those children play with appropriate toys for a few hours a day, then that might be OK, but any type of program where there is "instruction" of any sort, more than likely boils down to manipulation of these children at an early age regarding beliefs and attitudes. Think about it:  they are too young to learn anything of substance.  Often it is suggested that they can learn how to get along!  Kids learn that the first time they run into someone bigger or smarter than they are, and there is always someone bigger or smarter.

We all know that the government intends to get their hands on people's children as quickly as they can so their parents have no lasting influence on their own children's beliefs--which mirror those of the parent if the children are left alone until the first grade.  Even then the government tries to change parental inculcated beliefs if they can.  Katy ISD is one of the worst at trying to accomplish this goal.  One just needs to know what he is looking at to see it.

..."I think we're getting past the point where we have to convince folks of the importance of pre-K," he (Rep. Justin Rodriguez, D-San Antonio) said.....  NO, Representative Rodriguez, we're NOT!!!!

All credible and authentic research, most of it with regard to the long-lived Head Start program shows that there is no long lasting benefit to pre-K education with regard to academic learning.  If that is the case and factual, ask yourself, "Why else would the government want to go to the expense of babysitting these children?"  The answers are obvious.

That Greg Abbott would be a part of such a scheme is not a good thing.
