COMMENTARY ON JOE ADAMS:

Joe Adams has been on the Katy ISD school board for 27 years.

It's time for him to  quit on his own or be defeated in an election.  He is pretty much useless as a school board member.

He has never clearly understood issues that were before the board, in my opinion.  [I served two terms in the 1990's when he was also on the Board.] He has not been a member of the board to serve the community.  He has instead, been there to make contacts to pad his resume' and increase his business contacts and to have people shake his hand on a Sunday morning at church.

He is a paper tiger in my opinion. He has disgraced his office by causing the board to cast a vote in executive session (which is illegal) when he was the Board president; he has been fined by the Texas Ethics Commission because he was unable to fill out his election papers correctly (even when he was told twice that they were in error--he refused to correct them); and he violated Federal law by robocalling parents on their very private cellular phones with numbers he got from the school district.

He has not done anything notable in 27 years, he just takes up a chair, and it's time for him to go.
