LETTER ERIC DUHON, CHRIS CROCKETT, AND JUDY SNYDER SENT TO EAST END VOTERS:

In order to be elected the last time he ran, Mr. Duhon decided to do the following:

While president of the Katy ISD school board, Mr. Duhon MAILED the following letter to the residents of Fleetwood, Barker's Landing,  Memorial Thicket, and Thornwood.  The information in the letter is not true.

Eric Duhon was just following the fraudulent behavior, in my opinion, of his fellow board member 12 years previsously. Supposedly "friends of Judy Snyder" (the friends' names appear at the bottom) were responsible for the letter!  This letter may be found under the name Judy Snyder in this section.

For the record, no school board member ever wanted to close Wolfe Elementary.

The only person who ever wanted to close Wolfe Elementary was Superintendent Hugh Hayes, and I am the one who discovered that and put a stop to the effort.

The conservative Republican candidates who  opposed Mr Duhon, Mrs. Snyder and Mrs. Crockett, believe in neighborhood schools.  That's why they were running for these offices. In my opinion, the incumbents took everything they said and twisted it and turned it around on them.  It was frustrating for all of us who understood what they were doing to watch but such actions were expected.

Not a lot anyone can do about the lies as long as Katy doesn't have a viable press to hold liars accountable!

In my opinion the incumbents seemed willing to do anything at all to get re-elected. The things they said about the three people who were serious challengers for them (Kameron Searle, Cynthia Blackman and Chris Sanders) were just unconscionable.  No citizen should have had to endure such verbal abuse just because they thought they could do a better job of providing a sound academic education for the children of this school district by running for the school board!

For the record, Tom Law has stated that he never said any of these things to Mr. Duhon. As a matter of fact, Mr. Duhon hardly talked to Mr. Law at all during the three years Law was on the board, so it is believable that such a conversation never occurred.

If it is not clear, the last line says "Pol Adv. By Eric Duhon, Judy Snyder and Chris Crockett"
