Katy ISD Board names new principal for Morton Ranch High School

The Katy Independent School District Board of Trustees has named Lee Crews as the new principal of Morton Ranch High School.

The board made the decision to appoint Crews, who is the current principal of Willowridge High School in Fort Bend ISD, during their regular December board meeting.

Morton Ranch's current principal, Mark Grisdale, was recently appointed as the new principal of Katy ISD High School No. 7.

Crews began serving in Fort Bend ISD as an assistant principal in 1997. In 2003 he became the principal at First Colony Middle School. Additionally, he has served as the principal at Quail Valley Middle School and Clements High School. He holds a bachelor of arts In curriculum instruction from Texas A&M University and a masters degree in education administration and supervision from the University of Houston-Victoria.

Morton Ranch High School is at 21000 Franz Road, Katy.
