Looking at the members of the "task force," would you say that this bunch was interested in the welfare of students or something else?  Since there were supposed to be "more than twenty members, it looks like a few of them declined the "honor."  Looking at the list, I think Carol Adams was probably the only one interested in the welfare of the students.
