THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW FROM 2017-2018:

The Katy ISD school board, at the behest of the Superintendent is trying to get the public to vote for a school bond.

Within the exorbitant amount being requested, is an item which they have chosen not to break out--hoping that you won't notice it! The fact that they are trying to hide that part of the proposal should send up red flags for everyone.

That item is, of course, the 206 million dollar high school that is proposed for the east half of Cross Creek Ranch--a relatively new subdivision with builders who have been previous culprits behind the spending of KISD bond monies in stupid ways.  (The other (west) side of Cross Creek Ranch is zoned to Lamar Consolidated ISD, and that school district has already built a normal high school for them to attend.)  Anyone with a brain is buying houses on the LCISD side of that subdivision, in my opinion!

The bond committee that was called to be Delphied into proposing this bond and this high school, is discussed elsewhere on this web site.
