OPINION ABOUT CAUSES OF STUDENT GROWTH:
Has anyone else noticed that the District is now hedging and saying that the District did NOT grow by 3,000 students this year? Looking at their enrollment numbers as submitted on PEIMS day in October, it appears that they DID grow by 3,396 students. Wonder why they are acting like that didn't happen? And since Houston ISD increased by 3,000 "unaccompanied minors"(--read... the illegals that came into America this last summer and fall,) who's to say Katy ISD didn't get some of those as well?
