THINGS I DID WHILE A BOARD MEMBER:
It is difficult to explain 25 years later what I tried to do as a candidate for office and then as an elected Katy ISD board member. I have created this spot because as I watch current board members it seems as if all THEY do is vote "yes" on everything put in front of them. Most of them never have any agenda to push!
I was not like that. I brought up issues, had plenty to say about why those issues were important, and I tried to build support for them with the public and other board members. Sometimes I was successful.
Ironically, almost all of the issues that I addressed, and especially the ones that I did not get into board policy, are still hanging around as ideas and proposals that STILL need addressing!
